La Maison du Roi (The King’s House)

The most important work in our collection is undoubtedly the building that houses the museum. It is called “Maison du Roi” in French and “Broodhuis” in Dutch. This neo-Gothic building, as we know it today, dates back to the last quarter of the 19th century. Its unparalleled history perfectly reflects the heritage of the city.

For groups: reservation is required via our online form.

Wearing a facemask remains recommended when it’s very busy in the museum.

Guided tours

Reservations are fully booked until June 18.

Reservation requests must be submitted 15 days before the visit, and reservations will only be accepted from June 01, via our online form.
