Heritage Days

In keeping with the theme of “Meeting Points”, this year’s Heritage Days – the 33rd – celebrate gathering places of all kinds, from public spaces, parks, markets, cafés, restaurants, literary clubs, ballrooms, function rooms, museums and theatres .

An encounter with experts specialising in heritage conservation.
Studies are being carried out to assess its condition and find ways to ensure its long-term conservation. At the end of summer 2021, scaffolding will be installed for a month along one of the façades to trial, among other things, cleaning different types of materials, repairing or replacing stones, frames and stained-glass windows and restoring polychrome and gilding. Experts will be on hand at the Maison du Roi/Broodhuis on Saturday and Sunday from 13:30 to 16:30 to tell you all about this project and answer your questions.
