A unique museum adventure with TADA pupils

From 15.02.25 > 09.03.25

Capsule exhibit

The Brussels City Museum – Maison du Roi/Broodhuis is working with a class of 24 ToekomstATELIERdelAvenir (TADA) pupils in their first year of secondary school to explore the story of their city and of their own background. Together, they reflect on an essential question: which objects tell their personal story and their connection with Brussels?

Inspired by our collection of objects linked to immigration, this initiative focuses on the stories behind each object. During the project, the pupils are discovering the work of different people at the museum, such as display designers, curators and communications officers. They are learning to value heritage through their own experiences.

Discover the objects chosen by the pupils and admire the exhibition they designed. This exhibition invites you to explore different facets of our collective history through the eyes of Brussels’ youngsters.
