Four times a year, our expert guides invite you to delve a little deeper into an original topic from the collections of the Museums of the City of Brussels.

- Schedule: 12.30 to 13.30.

GUIDED TOUR: An introduction to the history of Brussels and its symbols.
Themes: the origins of the City of Brussels and  its development  throughout the ages - altarpieces and tapestries  - internationally renowned Brussels craftsmanship -  and the Manneken Pis.

- Price : € 75.00 (weekdays) or € 90.00 (weekends) + € 6.00 per person

The Grand Place to be

Guided tour
Themes: the development of the market square during  the Middle Ages - the square's appearance from the Middle Ages to the 17th century – the main buildings: the  Hôtel de Ville (Town Hall) and the Maison du Roi (King’s House) – the bombardment by Louis XIV's troops in 1695 – the reconstruction of the houses at the end of the 17th century and the start of the 18th century – The deterioration of the square before its renovation between 1850-1920. 19th century – The most recent  restoration campaigns and listing by UNESCO.

Guided tour + visit of the square

Themes: those of the exhibition + Gothic and Baroque architecture - the emblems indicating the house names - the chronograms and Roman numerals - the decorative elements evoking the various craft guilds and those in authority - the t'Serclaes monument
